Welcome to a new, creative, innovative, and authentic Montessori elementary program in the Atlanta area!
Instruction:
PHASE ONE – June 11 – July 27, 2018 – Seven weeks of lectures and materials demonstrations will be presented 5 days a week, 8 hours a day (bring a lunch). Includes one Saturday, and a four-day break for Independence Day and weekend.
PHASE TWO — 9 days of Weekend Seminars during the 2017-2018 Academic Year — dates to be determined.
PHASE THREE — 10 days in summer of 2018 for Review and Preparation for the Final Exam — dates to be determined.

Dixie Oliver has made the entire ground floor of her building and her 6-9 classroom furniture and materials available to this program.
Classroom:
Amy Fultz, Director of Alpharetta International Academy and her teachers are setting up the Elementary I (6-9) Prepared Environment with all of the required furniture and materials.
Practicum: Full 2017-2018 Academic Year in a Montessori 6-9 classroom.
Faculty:
Michael Dorer, Ed.D. – Program Director and Principal Instructor
Dr. Dorer is a graduate of both the (AMI 6-12) Bergamo, Italy and the (AMS) Xavier University Elementary I (6-9) Programs. He directed the 3-12 Teacher Education Programs at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN for many years. He also founded and directed the 3-12 programs at Westminster College, in Salt Lake City, UT. Dr. Dorer is known internationally as a gifted Storyteller. He will lead a Faculty of five world class Instructors.
Fees:
Tuition — $5,990 — PAMS has made every effort to keep the cost of this program as low as possible so that many Atlanta area candidates will be able to attend. All albums and practicum fees are included.
Teaching Materials: — $1,409 maximum — Most schools already have many of the required texts and materials, in which case you will not need to buy them. The cost of Teaching Materials should be paid by the schools because they will be used to teach their 6-9 students for years to come.

1. The Scientific Foundations of the Montessori System of Education
2. Motor Development and Refined Control of Movement through
Exercises of Practical Life
3. Sensorial Foundation of Intellectual Life
4. The Cultivation of Listening, Sight Singing and Notation Skills
with the Montessori Bells and Boards
5. Introduction to the Zóltan Kodály System of Early Childhood
Music Education
During 4 weeks from June 4 to 29, 2018, PAMS will offer you:
1. Acquisition of Language and Literacy Skills in One or
More Languages through a Structured Sequence of Activities
2. The Early Preparation of the Mathematical Mind
3. The Science of Peace Curriculum
4. First Year Practicum Review
5. First Year Qualifying Examination

Four semester M.Ed. program at Kennesaw State University.
Sign up to start in Summer 2016, to take all online courses. Then, you will take the Montessori Program with Dr. Feland Meadows, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-10 pm. During the Fall and Spring Semesters. Complete your masters online with one thesis presentation in the Summer of 2016.
